Kandi
is the proud mother of three girls. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English
and has a background in grant writing and non-profit activities. She serves
on the Board of Directors for American Red Cross, Vice President of Richmond
Parent Teacher Organization, she is Co-President of the Stillwater Middle
School PTA and girl scout troop leader. Her hobbies include photography
and scrapbooking.
Jason
Pogue, Treasurer
Jason
is the proud father of two great kids. He earned both his Bachelors
of Science in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration
from Oklahoma State University and is a lifetime member of the OSU Alumni
Association. Jason serves as a volunteer for the Payne County Court
Appointed Special Advocates and has numerous affiliations with research
administration professional societies. He has achieved designation as
a Certified Research Administrator. Jason loves spending time with his
wife and children and playing golf and baseball. Jason currently works
for the Vice President for Research & Technology Transfer at Oklahoma
State University.
Luke Anthony, Member
Luke
is married to his wonderful wife, Jennifer, and is the proud father
of two little girls. A native of Stillwater, he graduated from Stillwater
High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Oklahoma
State University. Luke received a juris doctorate from the University
of Tulsa before returning to Stillwater to start the Anthony Law Firm,
PLLC. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Payne County
Bar Association, the Westwood Elementary Parent Teacher Association,
and a volunteer for Legal Aid of Oklahoma. In his spare time, Luke enjoys
cooking, gardening, playing disc golf, and spending time with his wife
and daughters.
Dena
Cornforth, Member
Dena
Cornforth graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in accounting
in 1991, where she was recognized as a top five female graduate. After
passing the CPA exam, she worked as an auditor in public accounting
and private industry and as a financial manager where she traveled abroad
extensively. After her son was born, Dena discovered childrens
museums and developed a passion for exploring such museums across the
country. Dena is a mom to four children and considers her role as a
mother to be both her greatest challenge and greatest accomplishment
in life. Dena is a native Oklahoman and lives in Stillwater, Oklahoma
with her husband, four children, and pets numbering that of a small
zoo.
Ann Hargis, Member
Ann
Hargis became the "First Lady", or "First Cowgirl",
of Oklahoma State University when her husband, Burns, took office as
the 18th President of the OSU System on March 10, 2008. Mrs. Hargis
is an active and successful ambassador for OSU. In addition to partnering
with President Hargis on many activities, she is active across the campus
and community. On the OSU campus, Ann is involved with Friends of the
Library, Friends of Music, Lahoma Club and she is sharing her love for
physical fitness by teaching a yoga class to OSU faculty and staff.
In the Stillwater
community, Mrs. Hargis is active with the Stillwater Public Education
Foundation and the Stillwater Children's Museum. A native of Dallas,
Mrs. Hargis earned her bachelor's degree in math and Latin from the
University of Texas. She worked a number of years in the information
technology industry and advertising and marketing. Prior to coming to
Stillwater, Ann was actively involved in various community and volunteer
work in Oklahoma City in an assortment of areas, including health and
children's issues and the arts. She was a member of Leadership Oklahoma
Class V. Mrs. Hargis and her husband have two married children - son
Matt and his wife Michelle, and daughter Kate Haas and her husband Richard;
and three grandchildren - Peighton, Preston and Oliver.
Bethany
Houser, Member
Bethany
graduated from OSU in 1996 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. She
married her wonderful husband Stephen two weeks later and then worked
as an engineer for five years until their adorable son Benjamin was
born. Two years after that, they were doubly blessed with precious twin
girls, Kate and Elizabeth. Bethany has worn many hats alongside being
a "domestic engineer" in order to satisfy her creative and
logical interests. Her favorites include web site designer, jewelry
designer, and dance teacher/choreographer. She is also an active member
of her church and loves to travel with her family.
Lorrie Janzen, Member
Lorrie
Janzen is the mother of two beautiful daughters and is married to Juergen
Janzen. She has a degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University.
She is and has been involved in many volunteer organizations in Stillwater.
She is active in her Church. Lorrie believes in Stillwater and is truly
passionate about the great opportunities the Stillwater Children's Museum
will be able to offer our community.
Katrina
Jarvis, Member
Katrina
Jarvis came to Stillwater from Enid to attend OSU. Since then she has
made her home in Perkins with her husband and 13-year-old son. Katrina
has served on the Board of Directors for Downtown Stillwater Unlimited
and the Main Street organization, where she served as Board President.
She is also very active in her church. Katrina has been with Stillwater
National Bank since 1994 and is currently Vice President of Stillwater
National Bank Financial Services.
DeAnna Little, Member
DeAnna
is the Department Chair for the Information Technology training programs
at Meridian Technology Center . She obtained her Bachelors and Masters
Degrees from Oklahoma State University . In 2001, she earned the title
of National Board Certified Teacher and is a recent graduate of Leadership
Stillwater Class XVII. She loves technology, education and enriching
the lives of others. DeAnna grew up in Minnesota and moved to Oklahoma
with her family in the 80s graduating from Tulsa Union. While
attending OSU she met her husband of 15 years, Les Little. They have
two boys, Austin and Jake, who are the joys of their life!
Tyler
Martin, Member
Tyler Martin is the proud mother of three great children. Tyler graduated
from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood
Education. She began teaching in the OSU Child Development Labs and
then later became the Coordinator of Stillwater's Oklahoma Parents as
Teachers. Tyler has also been a Parent Educator for teen parents in
Payne County. She is very active in the community being a member of
Stillwater's Junior Service League, volunteering as a soccer coach,
baseball coach, and leading her daughter's Daisy Troop. Tyler has always
been very focused on children both personally and professionally. Her
hobbies include spending time with her family boating, playing golf,
and traveling.
Kenny
Quigley, Member
Kenny was born and raised in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. He graduated from
Kingfisher High School. He attended Oklahoma State University and obtained
a B.S. Degree in Agriculture Education. He also attended Oklahoma City
University and received a Masters in Business Administration. Kenny
has worked for the USDA/Rural Development Agency since 1988. He is loan
officer for the agency and underwrites commercial business loans covering
the entire state of Oklahoma. He is married to Kari, who teaches 7th
grade mathematics at Stillwater Middle School. They have two sons, Kyle
and Kade. He is a member of the Stillwater Church of Christ and assists
in childrens bible school. Kenny is very involved in his sons
activities, civic groups and Alpha Gamma Rho Alumni Association. He
is a recent graduate of Leadership Oklahoma Class IXX and Leadership
Stillwater Class XVII. His hobbies include camping, OSU sports and spending
time with his family.
Amy
Tidland,

Amy
is the proud wife of her high school sweetheart Chris Tidland, and even
prouder mother of two children, Jackson Riley and Isabella Grace. A
native Southern Californian, Amy is well-traveled. In addition to travels
to Spain , Germany , the Phillipines, and Korea , she experienced life
abroad as an exchange student in Brisbane , Australia . In 1990 she
transferred from the University of California at Berkeley to attend
Oklahoma State University with Chris. She graduated in 1995 with a degree
in Apparel Textiles and Merchandising. Stillwater has been home to Amy
and her family now for 15 years. Amy has enjoyed various career choices,
including serving as a caddie for her husband. Amy has been an active
member of Junior Service League, The PGA Tour Wives Association and
her church community. She enjoys the "job" of homeroom mom
for both of Jackson's and Bella's classrooms. She is bilingual, fluent
in Spanish.
