the economic impact of an estimated 100,000 visitors per year!
A recent report in “USA TODAY”, (Sloan, Gene, Kids’ Museums
Grow by Leaps, Bounds, USA TODAY, February 17, 2005) reports, “Many
cities now see children’s museums as a magnet for tourism…”
This trend is evidenced by the Association of Children’s Museums’
2005 Member Survey that revealed 60 children’s museums are currently
flagships in downtown revitalization projects. Now-- imagine the Stillwater
Children's Museum and the incredible opportunities it would offer our
community and the surrounding region.
